What is CTR in Google search console?

The CTR or Click-Through rate on Search Console is the click rate on your page on search results. It’s calculated by separating the aggregate number of clicks with impressions and multiply the value with 100. After that, we get the value as the percentage. For example, if the number of clicks is 100 for impressions 1000, then the CTR will be: (100/1000)*100 = 10%, so the CTR of search console is the percentage value by which it implies the click rate of your blog post on Google search result.

The importance of Organic CTR for a Blog

CTR or click-through rate is quite essential for a blog or any types of website.
It is clear to you that more organic CTR you will get for your blog means more search traffic you will get on your blog. But this is not the only reason to give it so much importance. If you think that as the only reason then I am going to tell you that CTR plays an important role to rank a page on Google. So the SEO profoundly affected by the CTR. If you get a higher amount of CTR, then Google will rank your page higher. That means the overall SEO of your blog or site will be improved. It will send a strong message to Google.

From the above options, click pages and click on pages that have CTR below 5%. After that click on “Queries” from the top and you will able to see all the keywords for which your pages are getting impressions. Now, look out to those keywords that have very low CTR.

You just need to modify the title tag as well as meta description tag of that page. You have to put the keyword in your title tag and meta description tag.
